Applications in the prescribed form are invited upto 30th April 2018 from Indian nationals for direct recruitment through written test & interview for filling up of the posts of Scientist B in Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Port Blair, as detailed below.
Not exceeding 35 years
Relaxable up to 5 years for Government Servants and SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard
Age relaxation is also allowed to Scientific and Technical Staff working in long term projects in ICMR Institutes/Centers as per the Indian Council of Medical Research under Health Research Scientific Cadre-2007 and Technical Cadre Integrated Recruitment and Assessment Rules-2007
Allowances – As admissible to Government Employees.
Pension – Benefits of new restructured defined contributory pension system are admissible as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division) Notification No.05/07/2003-ECB & PR dated 22-12-2003, effective from 01-01-2004.
Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- is to be paid by the candidates under General category and Rs. 100/- by OBC candidates in the form of crossed demand draft from any nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Director, RMRC (ICMR), Port Blair payable at Port Blair. SC/ST/PwD & Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
