  • Antenatal Screening For HBsAg and prevention of perinatal transmission of Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection with Hepatitis B Immunoglobulin and /or Hepatitis B vaccine in a tribal community in Car Nicobar
  • Assessment of impregnated bed net usage and its impact on malaria in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the tribal population

On-going Projects
  • Supervising the lab activities of the IRL TB of our centre, providing diagnostic support to RNTCP Processing of the sputum specimen from the clinically suspected and follow up cases of TB and MDRTB by microscopy, culture and DST. Providing monthly reports to STO and quarterly reports to NIRT (Chennai)
  • Also supervising the laboratory activities of the sample received under TB-Tribal project“Estimate the burden of TB among the tribal population and develop an innovative health system model to strengthen TB control” and maintaining the clinical and lab records of all symptomatic cases
